Players

  • Turn up for training and matches on time.
  • Only wear Gold Talents Academy football Kit
  • Show good sportsmanship and respect at all times.
  • Have good attitude at training and matches.
  • No jewellery is to be worn during training or a game.
  • Always wear your shin guards.
  • No eating or chewing during training or matches.
  • No swearing or fighting on or off the pitch.
  • No abuse or racial remarks shall be made towards any other player, official or supporter.
  • Respect the Laws of the Game and Competition Rules.
  • Enjoy every game whether you win or lose.

Parents & Supporters

  • Ensure that your child arrives on time and is collected on time.
  • Help your child to recognise good performance, not just results.
  • Do not put pressure on your child especially in matches.
  • Always encourage your child, never be negative.
  • Only discuss your concern about training or matches with the team manager in private.
  • Inform the manager if there has been a change in your child’s medical condition.
  • Use correct and proper language at all times.
  • No abuse or racial remarks are to be made towards any player, official or supporter.
  • Don’t drink alcohol during training or matches.
  • Support all the players in your child’s squad. Do not criticise any player.
  • Ensure that suitable clothing and footwear is worn by your child.
  • Pay your training subs, match fees and annual fees on time.

Coaches

  • Must respect the right, dignity and worth of each and every person and treat each equally within the context of the sport.
  • Must place the well being and safety of each player above all other considerations, including the development of performance.
  • Must adhere to all guidelines laid down by governing bodies
  • Must develop an appropriate working relationship with each player based on mutual trust and respect.
  • Must not use their position to obtain person benefit or reward.
  • Must encourage and guide players to accept responsibility for their own behaviour and performance.
  • Must ensure that the activities they direct or advocate are appropriate for the age, maturity, experience and ability of players.
  • Must co-operate fully with other specialists (e.g. other coaches, officials, doctors etc.) in the best interests of the player.
  • Must consistently display high standards of behaviour and appearance.
  • Must not use or tolerate inappropriate language.

Team Officials

  • Set a positive example for others, particularly young players and supporters.
  • Promote and develop his own team having regard to the interest of the players, supporters and the reputation of the national game.
  • Share knowledge and experience when invited to do so, taking into account the interests of the body that has requested this rather than personal interests.
  • Show due respect to Match Officials and others involved in the game.
  • Always have regard to the best interests of the game, including where publicly expressing an opinion of the game and any particular aspect of it, including others involved in the game.
  • Not use or tolerate inappropriate language.
  • Give priority to the interests of the team over individual interests.
  • Resist all illegal or unsporting influences including banned substances and techniques.
  • Show due respect to the interests of players, coaches and other officials at their own club / team and others.
  • Show their due respect to the interests of supporters.
  • Accept the decisions of Match Officials without protest.
  • Avoid words or actions, which may mislead a Match Official.
  • Show due respect towards Match Officials.
